Hey there, crumb lover. Welcome to Kneaded+Crumb, the in-home micro bakery (all products are made in my home kitchen) with the attitude of a big-city bakehouse and the heart of a hometown kitchen. We’re local, woman-owned, and fueled by butter, ambition, and the kind of determination you only develop after cleaning glitter out of carpets as an elementary teacher.
Yep—before diving into dough mode, I've spent almost three decades teaching local elementary kiddos, sharpening my patience, creativity, and ability to function on minimal sleep. Turns out those skills transfer beautifully into micro-bakery life. Now, in addition to shaping minds, I’m shaping dough. While I'm prepping lesson plans, I’m prepping sourdough starters. And honestly? I’m loving this new chapter just as much.
I’ve been baking since I was 8 years old, back when I needed a stool to reach the counter and thought apron strings were a fashion statement. Since then, I’ve spent years baking for my family, my friends, and pretty much anyone who wandered too close to my kitchen. And yes, long before “micro bakery” was the vibe it is today, I was featured in Cooking Light Magazine’s Dinner Club segment in May 2001—proof that the food obsession runs deep.
At Kneaded+Crumb, everything is handmade right in my home kitchen: small-batch, slow-crafted, and kissed with just the right amount of attitude. Whether you need sourdough, cookies, treats for your people, or a little “treat yourself” moment, you’re in the right place.
Thanks for supporting local, woman-owned, teacher-turned-baker magic.
Now go on—order something delicious. You’ve earned it.
